His professional career spans journalism, social welfare, cultural preservation, and environmental advocacy — all guided by his firm belief that journalism must serve truth, justice, and humanity. Here’s a detailed overview of Bayzid Saad:

Educational Journey

Bayzid Saad’s educational journey reflects both intellectual curiosity and moral commitment. His educational journey began at Kerail Kopa Government Primary School in Tungipara, where he completed his Primary School Certificate (PSC) in 2013.

He later attended Khan Shaheb Sheikh Mosharrof Hossain School and College, successfully completed his Junior School Certificate (JSC) in 2016 and Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in 2019 from the same institution, specializing in the science stream.

For higher secondary studies, Bayzid Saad joined Haji Lal Mia City College, Gopalganj, in the humanities department. Where he achieved his Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) (Humanities) in 2021 with distinction.

He began undergraduate studies in Philosophy at Gopalganj Government Bangabandhu College and later transferred to Kabi Nazrul Government College, Dhaka (Affiliated with the University of Dhaka), where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Philosophy.

His foundation in both Science and Philosophy enables him to combine analytical thinking with ethical reflection — qualities that distinguish his journalistic voice.

Professional Journalism Career

Bayzid Saad began his professional journey in 2019, and within just a few years, he established himself as one of the most committed young journalists in Bangladesh.

He is currently a News Reporter at Ekhon TV, Bangladesh’s first business television channel under the City Group, one of Bangladesh’s largest industrial conglomerates.

His beats include health, public welfare, political affairs, and environmental issues, and he is known for his courage in addressing sensitive and underreported topics.

His previous work experience includes being a staff reporter for Ekushey Sangbad (2022 – 2023) and Daily Amar Sangbad (2019 – 2022). He has also served as the news editor for the online news portal Nabadhara Online (2020 – 2021).

These diverse experiences across both print and electronic media have shaped his expertise in field reporting, editing, and multi-platform storytelling.

 Focus and Journalistic Impact

Saad’s journalism centers on health and public welfare, with reports that expose irregularities, inefficiencies, and challenges in Bangladesh’s healthcare system. He has investigated critical issues such as hospital bed shortages, lack of doctors, unregulated clinics, and medicine crises — work that has prompted discussions in administrative and civic spaces.

Beyond health, he covers political, environmental, and social topics with a consistent emphasis on ethics, factual accuracy, and human empathy.

  • Amra Tungiparabashi Association
  • We All for Others (ASOP)
  • Alo SD Foundation

He also serves as the Organisational Secretary of Darpan Blood Camp, a youth-led blood donation organization. He has personally donated blood eight times and organized numerous campaigns encouraging voluntary blood donation among students and local youth.

 Cultural Engagement and Contributions

Saad strongly believes that culture, creativity, and artistic expression can play a powerful role in shaping social consciousness and community harmony.

  • As a Founding Member of the Tungipara Art Club, Saad works to inspire children and teenagers to develop interest in art, literature, and painting. He regularly organizes art exhibitions, competitions, and creative workshops where both local and national artists participate and motivate emerging young talents.
  • Saad is an Active Member of Bangladesh Udichi Shilpigoshthi, Tungipara Unit, where he takes part in and helps organize cultural programs, musical performances, literary festivals, and community-oriented artistic activities that strengthen Bangladesh’s cultural identity.
  • He is also affiliated with the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (Tungipara Branch), contributing to the arrangement of stage performances, national-day celebrations, district-level festivals, and cultural development initiatives that highlight the country’s rich artistic heritage.

Through these three platforms, Saad continues to use culture and the arts as instruments of community development, youth empowerment, and collective social awareness.

Environmental Awareness and Advocacy

Bayzid Saad is deeply committed to environmental sustainability and ecological awareness. His work extends beyond symbolic initiatives—he actively leads tree-planting drives, waste-management campaigns, and community cleanliness programs aimed at creating a healthier and greener Bangladesh.

He collaborates with local authorities, schools, and youth organizations to promote awareness of climate change, pollution control, and biodiversity conservation.

His journalistic and social work often intersect; he highlights how environmental degradation affects public health and community welfare, establishing himself as a strong voice for climate responsibility and environmental justice in modern Bangladesh.

Humanitarian Efforts

Compassion and community service are at the heart of Bayzid Saad’s philosophy.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, when hospitals in rural areas were overwhelmed, he coordinated free oxygen distribution and emergency support for critically ill patients. His efforts directly helped dozens of families and drew appreciation from his peers and the community.

Beyond crisis response, he regularly organizes health awareness programs, helps disadvantaged families access medicine, and continues to champion blood donation and youth volunteerism through Darpan Blood Camp.

His humanitarian work reinforces his belief that journalism must not only report problems but also mobilize solutions.

Philosophy and Vision

Rooted in his background in Philosophy, Saad views journalism as a moral pursuit of truth, empathy, and justice. For him, journalism is not merely the act of informing — it is a commitment to give voice to the voiceless, hold power accountable, and nurture a better-informed society.

He envisions a Bangladesh where journalism promotes transparency, compassion, and civic responsibility, ultimately contributing to the growth of a more conscious and equitable nation.
